Welcome to Prague
Dear future European urologists,
With seven extremely successful EUREP courses under our belt it is now confirmed that the role of EUREP within the education programme of the European School of Urology (ESU) and as a valuable addition to residents in training is firmly established. The EUREP is an initiative of the European School of Urology in collaboration with the European Board of Urology (EBU) and has been especially created and developed for all European residents. The preliminary programme reflects the commitment to offer a dynamic, innovative and scholarly programme which covers all aspects of contemporary urology.
The morning programme will offer a comprehensive and informative current review of urology today while the afternoon sessions will focus on interactive discussions, surgical videos, case presentations and test your knowledge sessions.
To coincide with the excellent teaching programme there is an opportunity for residents to participate in the workshops on laparoscopy hands-on-training (HOT). It is with thanks to Olympus that these workshops are possible. We are sincerely grateful to Olympus for their continued sponsorship of this programme which enhances the quality the EUREP course.
The faculty has been chosen based on their expertise in their field of urology and their excellent teaching skills. These European experts will be available for the duration of the course offering you the opportunity for scientific and social interaction.
EUREP participants will be evaluated by means of MCQs during the modules. The official written part of the FEBU exam will be organised on the last day of the course. This is only for EUREP participants and if you meet the criteria we would encourage you to register for this opportunity.
We look forward to seeing you at the 8th EUREP Course in September 2010 for what promises to be a memorable and very beneficial education programme.
